Veteran Goes to Prison for Digging Ponds

An elderly veteran who ran a business supplying water to fight forest fires was prosecuted by the federal government and sent to prison for digging ponds on his own property, one of his lawyers says.

Joe Robertson, a Navy veteran from Montana, was 78 when he was convicted and sentenced to 18 months in federal prison and ordered to pay $130,000 in restitution through deductions from his Social Security checks.

His crime?

Robertson, whose business supplied water trucks to Montana firefighters, dug a series of small ponds close to his home in 2013 and 2014. The site was a wooded area near a channel, a foot wide and a foot deep, with two to three garden hoses’ worth of flow, according to court documents.

The U.S. government prosecuted Robertson for digging in proximity to “navigable waters” without a permit, a violation of the Clean Water Act administered by the Environmental Protection Agency and the Army Corps of Engineers.

A Hidden Code within the Three, Five, and Seven Steps

It is said that symbols used in Masonry both conceal and reveal. In the Fellow-Craft (2nd) degree of Blue Lodge Masonry candidates are introduced to the symbol of a winding staircase consisting of three, five, and seven steps. There has been a tremendous amount of writing that describes the meaning behind this symbol. In every instance these descriptions define each group of the steps as having separate areas for consideration.

The group of three steps are said to reflect the three stages of life: youth, manhood, and old age. They also allude to wisdom, strength. and beauty.

The five steps are said to represent the five orders of architecture are Tuscan, Doric, Ionic, Corinthian, and Composite. And, within each order of architecture certain characteristics are said to be represented. These steps are also said to represent the 5 senses.

The seven steps allude to the seven Sabbatical years, seven years of famine, seven years in building the Temple, seven golden candlesticks, seven wonders of the world, seven wise men of the east, seven planets; etc.

I submit that his symbol conceals more than it reveals. Here is a little math that seems to indicate that more is hidden behind the 3, 5, and 7 numbers. If you have MS Excel, this math becomes easy to do.

First Computation:  Take any group of consecutive numbers and individually divide them by 3, then 5, and then 7.  Sum the results for each consecutive number.  As an example, here is the result for the number ‘2’

a.  2  / 3 = .66667

b.  2 / 5 =  .4

c.  2 / 7 =  .2857143              

d.  Summation =1.352381

The difference between each consecutive result (summation) will always be .676190476……

First Computation

Second Computation:  For any numbers where steps ‘a’ through ‘c’ (above) were performed:

a.   divide the result obtained for step ‘b’ by step ‘a’  (in this example we used the number ‘2’ and the results for step ‘b’ and ‘a’ are .4  and .66667) The result, regardless of what number was used in the first computation will always be 0.6

b.  divide the result obtained for step ‘c’ by step ‘b’  (in this example we used the number ‘2’ and the results for step ‘c’ and ‘b’ are .2857143  and .4) The result, regardless of what number was used in the first computation will always be 0.714285714285714.

c.  Add the numbers together from this computation (a and b immediately above) and the result will always be mankind’s early understanding of the approximate value of pi divided by 10 +1   or (22/7/10) +1, or 1.31428571428571.  Or, perhaps more aptly stated the result minus 1, times 10 = the early understanding of the value of pi. This could also be stated as:  “The result times 10, minus 10 equals pi”.

Second Computation

Third Computation:  In the last sentence of the First Computation we found that the results between two consecutive numbers always equaled   0.676190476….

a.  If we deduct the result of step ‘a’ of the Second Computation (0.6) from the difference that exists between two consecutive numbers ( 0.676190476) we get 0.076190476

b.  If we add the result of step ‘b’ of the Second Computation  (0. 714285714285714)  to the difference that exist between two consecutive numbers (.676190476) we get 1.39047619047619.

Third Computation

c.  When we subtract the result of step ‘a’ (immediately above) from the result of step ‘b’(immediately above), we again get mankind’s early understanding of the approximate value of pi divided by 10 +1   or (22/7/10) +1, or 1.31428571428571.  Or, the result minus 1, times 10 = the early understanding of the value of pi. Also as:  “The result times 10, minus 10 equals pi”.

I really don’t know what all of this means (other than it’s too cold outside to work in the garden !)

Our Advanced Society

It’s a sad state we find ourselves in. Our ‘advanced’ society will either continue on in sweet ignorance or face the realization that powerful forces are manipulating us at will (and do something about it).

Now long time readers of this blog will remember that I have real problems with some of the personal attributes of our President. That disdain in no way diminishes my profound gratefulness for what he has done for the nation. The fact is I would reelect him in a heartbeat, if for no other reason (and there are many more reasons) that his laser focus is on the traitors that have weaseled their way into high office. I’m pretty sure shining his bright light and sword like tongue on that crowd will cascade into the media’s domain. There will be anguish and much gnashing of teeth and it couldn’t be happening to a more deserving crowd.

Up But Stumbling Along

Thanks to all of you for the words of concern. I’m back on line, so your worst fears have been realized…..I survived the great computer outage of 2019.

To tell you the truth I’m OK with having been down during the last couple of weeks as there was so much blather back and forth over Barr’s report on Mueller’s conclusions that my wee voice would have been lost in the storm. In the end, Orwell may have only been partly correct in his pronouncement (below). 40 percent believe what the mainstream media wants them to believe, 40 or so percent what Fox tries to ram into our ears/eyes (primarily a call to be outraged at one thing or another). 10 percent are probably too wacked-out or stoned to know anything is going on at all. Of the 10 percent that remains, 5 don’t give a shit and 2 are actively working for the media in some capacity or another. That leaves us 3 percent (not III percenters) that look at both sides and realize that we are being played.

Breitbart is running a story about Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) daughter leading a national movement of students seeking to ditch class on Friday to participate in a worldwide climate change protest.

Isra Hirsi, 16, of Minneapolis, is spearheading the nationwide youth climate strike protests across the U.S. in nearly 50 states and Washington, DC., along with co-organizers Alexandria Villasenor, 13, of New York, and Haven Coleman, 12, of Denver.

Hirsi, who lists on Twitter page that she is the head of the Minnesota High School Democrats and several other left-wing youth-based organizations, said in a recent interview with Grist that she is looking to “change the conversation” on issues such as the Green New Deal by organizing the strike.

How They Do It In Massachusetts

I’ve heard folk up that way called ‘masholes’ this insanity proves the nickname is well deserved. So the voters chose to recall the mayor, and then in the following election voted him back in. The stupid is strong with this group of winners.

FALL RIVER, Mass. – Embattled Mayor Jasiel Correia was re-elected on Tuesday, after a recall vote was held.

WPRI-TV reports that while most Fall River voters chose to recall Correia, he still ended up being elected back into office.

The 27-year-old Correia was arrested last October, on more than a dozen counts of wire fraud and filing tax returns.

The charges prompted a recall election on Tuesday, which followed a vote “no confidence” from the Fall River City Council. Organizers in November said they collected more than 4,000 signatures that called for Correia’s resignation. 

Correia is accused of spending more than $230,000 collected from investors for an app he created. He’s facing federal fraud charges. Correia has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Earlier this month, Correia withdrew a request to repay investors.

WPRI reports that four candidates challenged Correia in the recall election: Councilman Joe Camara, School Committee member Paul Coogan, school administrator Kyle Riley and Director of Development for the South Coastal Legal Services Erica Scott-Pacheco.
