Heal Some of Those Wounds

I stumbled across this short video quite by accident on youtube and it struck a note. The words below are from the producer of the film. Their site is here

The Vietnam War marked a time of social unrest that divided our nation like never before. Service members returning home with physical and emotional scars were greeted with an unprecedented level of disrespect and dishonor. The courage and sacrifice of our veterans cannot be overstated. When you encounter them, thank them for their service. You never know how powerful those words may be.

Stupid is Dangerous

I was alerted by a reader that Beto is in fact NOT a convicted felon. I checked the web and found that there were strange going-ons within the judicial system in El Paso. It seems that having a powerful well connected father pays in spades !

A Classical Ass

The most interesting part of this clowns remarks is not that he accuses the US of provoking Iran (I expected as much from this socialist slug), its that he discloses that it is Iran behind the strikes. Kinda takes the mystery out of the continuing disaster that is Yemen.

Doomed

Citizens of those nations in Europe are just now figuring out how entirely hosed they are. Once the ratio of ‘guest’ to native advances they’ll find themselves slaves to these invaders. They are like the frog in a pot of cool water, and now the water is starting to heat.

The governing elites within the European Union and United Nations are pushing hard for socialism and a ‘new world order’. Future generations will wonder (but not wonder aloud) how it was possible to turn a once proud people into a grovelling mass of subservient cowards. They should have stopped it when they had the chance….they should have had a Donald of their own.

In the Fields

Well I rounded up the bales that we made up on Sunday and instead of moving them up to the hay barn at the front of the property, I put them along side of the fence on the east side of the back pasture.

I snapped a couple of photo’s on the cell phone. These two are some of the bales laying in the field.

The photo below is where I stacked the hay. That ‘box’ in the center of the photo is a very, very comfortable (and productive) shoot house that will be soon be put to use.

I threw one bale over the fencing around the garden to replace the mulch in the planting beds and we had a half role that I placed in between the apple trees and pear trees I planted last winter. My plan is to make a more attractive bedding area for the trees once the weather cools.

With the big chores done I’m looking forward to putting the boat back in the water, but it needs to cool off just a mite before I venture that way. The high today is/was 96. Tomorrows forecast is 97 and 90 for Thursday. Friday and Saturday are both sposta be 87 max so I will be planning to get it wet then.

I saw the below on the intertubes and it started me thinking I could actually catch fish!
