It’s Going To Get A Lot Hotter
I was hesitant to post the ‘manifesto’ produced by the shooter in El Paso. After some thought I figured that it may beneficial to understand just what that kid was thinking. It may be especially beneficial if you are on the fence post over whether to carry a firearm or not.
I’m a CC permit holder. About half of the time if I leave my vehicle while I’m alone I do not carry my sidearm. If I’m with my family I never fail to carry when we are out and about, they count on me for their safety. In the last 6 years of having a permit, I’ve never walked into Wallyworld (with or without my family) without my pistol. But that’s just me.
It’s hot out there right now. My guess is that it’s going to get a lot hotter. The text in the manifesto is at Drudge. The link is below.

Venezuela: What Happens to a Disarmed Populace
The Truth About Guns has a great article that talks to all of the bad that comes from having a socialist government and a disarmed populous. It only took a couple of years before the fruit of that tree bore true. Article can be found here.
If you think that this could not happen in America, think carefully about what is now going on and how absolutely the democrats have a hard on for both socialism and ‘common sense gun control’.

A Whole Lot of Stupid
The story below (snatched from Brietbart) shows that there is a whole lot of stupid running around out there. What unarmed person would follow after, and then confront, a man that had just pulled a gun and threatened to kill him? Don’t do stupid stuff folks, we need your vote in the next election. MAGA on but be smart about it:
As for the brainiac liberal with the gun, it was reported he was unable to leave the parking lot because his mother was still in the store.
The Story: A liberal pulled a gun on a man in a Kentucky big box store allegedly because he was triggered over the man’s Donald Trump campaign MAGA hat.
Police in Bowling Green, Kentucky, say James Phillips was arrested after witnesses said he pulled a gun inside a Sam’s Club outlet because the victim was wearing a red “Make America Great Again” hat.
A police report notes that the suspect admitted to getting upset over the headwear and that he “flipped off” the MAGA hat wearer, according to WBKO-TV 13.
Pierce added that Phillips, “Pulled a .40 caliber out and stuck it in my face, backed up and said, ‘It’s a good day for you to die.’”
Phillips claimed that he told Pierce to put the gun down so they could settle the argument like men, but Pierce ran out of the store, instead.
The victim said he followed the gun-toting Trump hater out of the store where Pierce claimed the MAGA hat-wearer was “harassing” him.
Police reported that store surveillance video substantiates Phillips’ story and that he never laid a hand on the Trump-hating assailant.
Phillips was charged with wanton endangerment first degree and was booked into the Warren County Regional Jail.

How the World Works
The justice system may not work that way, but life sure does. Bad guys doing bad things may very well die at the hands of good guys with guns.
Tragic History
“The tragic history of civilian disarmament cries a warning against any systematic attempts to render innocent citizens ill-equipped to defend themselves from tyrant terrorists, despots or oppressive majorities,”
– Daniel Schmutter
Not An Honest Mistake
“The ruling class doesn’t care about public safety. Having made it very difficult for States and localities to police themselves, having left ordinary citizens with no choice but to protect themselves as best they can, they now try to take our guns away. In fact they blame us and our guns for crime. This is so wrong that it cannot be an honest mistake.”
– Sen. Malcolm Wallop

A Sad Necessity
“Though defensive violence will always be ‘a sad necessity’ in the eyes of men of principle, it would be still more unfortunate if wrongdoers should dominate just men.”

Two Things in Common
“The gun control extremist has at least two things in common with the Islamic extremist. He has a willingness to die for his fundamental beliefs. And he has the sanctimony to demand that others go with him.”

Palladium of Liberty
“The right of the citizens to keep and bear arms has justly been considered, as the palladium of the liberties of a republic; since it offers a strong moral check against the usurpation and arbitrary power of rulers; and will generally, even if these are successful in the first instance, enable the people to resist and triumph over them.”
– Joseph Story
Horrid Mischief Would Ensue
“… arms discourage and keep the invader and plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as well as property. Horrid mischief would ensue were (the law-abiding) deprived the use of them.”
