Tractor Update

I did get the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) swapped out in the tractor.  The warning lamp is still lit, but I expect that once what little fluid remaining in the transfer line clears out that it will go blank.

What seemed like a simple, straight forward, ‘remove plug, drain fluid, refill tank’ task turned tricky when the owner’s manual proved to be too big of a task for the manuals author.  He has obviously never looked at the undercarriage of this model New Holland or he would have seen that the only drain plug visible is that for the fuel tank.  Oh, by the way, the diagram for draining the fuel and that for draining the DEF are exactly the same diagram, and it is wrong for both.

Again, if he had ever looked at the undercarriage he would have seen the large heavy skid plate that covers both tanks.  So, after removing the skid plate that runs along the bottom of the tractor and trying a gazillion allen wrenches until I found that an 11/32 inch wrench is the right size (which is bullshit all into itself), I was able to get it done.

I’m back in business and eager to put the brush-hog back to work.

The Media’s Manipulation

The real outrage should not be directed at this idiot for his answer, it should be fixed on the really sneaky way the question was asked. ‘Would you be courageous enough’. So the democrat contestants had two choices: either they are courageous or they are a friggen coward.

We are being manipulated everyday by these socialist. Most of the time it goes unnoticed.

What Scum Looks Like

This asshole destroyed evidence of treason by wiping the cell phones of Strzok and Page. 

He intentionally prolonged an investigation that he knew was unmerited to help Democrats pick up seats in the midterm elections. 

He created new terms and standards (not exonerated) that he knew were both bullshit and would trigger complicit Democrats to call for impeachment.

He is treasonous scum and any member of our government, or society, that supports him deserves our scorn.

CHULA VISTA – The City of Chula Vista’s greatest strength is our diversity and sense of community. Throughout our history residents of many backgrounds, ideas, and perspectives have lived, worked, and played side by side and supported one another. Today, however, we are challenged to reaffirm these values.

I am disappointed that some voices both from inside and outside our community have chosen to use the upcoming Drag Queen Storytime as an opportunity to perpetuate long discredited false and discriminatory narratives targeting the LGBTQ+ community in the name of protecting children. This is wrong and must be called out for what it is – the spreading of ignorance, fear, and hate. Much of this fearmongering is being organized by the local chapter of a nationally known hate-group which promotes not just anti-LGBTQ beliefs, but also anti-immigrant and white supremacist beliefs. These ideas and tactics do not reflect the community I love and serve.

Despite this, our community’s public spaces are open to all no matter their color, creed, or political beliefs. Our libraries are critical to our community’s well-being and serve as places that provide access to a wealth and diversity of information, ideas, and thought. This Storytime event is among many designed to foster a love of reading, and most importantly of all -to model the importance of diversity in learning, love, and civility.

Rules to Live (or die) By

  1.  Guns have only two enemies:  rust and politicians.
  2. It’s always better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
  3. Cops carry guns to protect themselves, not you.
  4. Never let someone or something that threatens you to get inside an arm’s length.
  5. Never say “I’ve got a gun.” If you need to use deadly force the first sound they hear should be the safety clicking off.
  6. The average response time of a 911 call is 23 minutes; the response time of a .357 is 1400 feet per second.
  7. The most important rule in a gunfight is always win.  Cheat if necessary.
  8. Make sure your attacker advances through a wall of bullets. You may be killed with your own gun, but he will have to beat you with it because it’ll be empty.
  9. If you’re in a gunfight:
    • If you’re not shooting you should be loading
    • If you’re not loading you should be moving
    • If you’re not shooting, loading, or moving you are probably dead
  10. In a life and death situation do something;  it may be wrong, but do something.
  11. If you carry a gun people will call you paranoid.  Nonsense.  If you have a gun what do you have to be paranoid about?
  12. You can say ‘stop’ or any other word, but a large bore muzzle pointed at someone’s head is pretty much a universal language
  13. You cannot save the planet but you may be able to save yourself and family
