The more radical R’s are running around shitting all over the commons because the Speaker blew off their threats. Looks to me like Biden and the D leadership have offered him cover and any ‘Motion to Vacate’ will fail.
I think the MTG’s and Gaetz’ of the world know this as well and won’t move that motion. They will however retreat to the shadows of their lair and scheme anew. To them it’s less about righteousness and more about power.
I may (or not) agree with the policy/funding decisions that were considered and passed. Those are not the subject of this screed; the uncivil and mindless thumping by R’s and D’s is. They (both sides) have turned the The Peoples House into a circus worthy of our ridicule.
The petty grabs for power and overt intimidation(s) sprawled out before a nation of sheep. 70 percent of the population has bought into the we/they, R v D shit show and have so thoroughly socialized their R-ness or D-ness that they cannot retract for fear of being abandoned by their herd.
So MTG, along with her sycophant Gaetz, would be wise to heed the words of the accidental sage Zack Van:

Dangerous Times
There is another way of understanding where we are as a country, it’s by looking at two distinctly separate events and examining how they are received by our citizenry.
First the invalid that has been installed as President doesn’t have a clue. This is bad, real bad. As bad as you think it is, it is much worse. Here is how: half of the country won’t admit that he’s well beyond his use by date. They hate the R’s with such passion that they are blind to the hazards generated by having him stumble around on the world stage.
Secondly, the left has not cornered the market on morons: Rep Matt Gaetz (R-FL) may not be the bellwether, but he’s not trailing by much. Breitbart brought forward a report that Gaetz generated. Saying:
“More than 1,000 U.S. troops are effectively being held “hostage” in Niger with medical supplies running low — stuck between the military junta-controlled government’s demands for them to leave and the Biden administration’s refusal to let them go home after the end of their deployments, according to a report prepared by Rep. Now there are R’s that hate the D’s with such passion that they’ve abandoned all rational thought and suck in what this egotist spews out as if it were mothers milk. That the D’s hate with equal enthusiasm is no consolation.
We are not only a nation failing to rise to it’s potential, we’ve weakened ourselves such that some industrious foreign actor might just take a run at the brass ring.

The Fix Is In
What a sad, sad nation we become when the questions asked and the answers given are designed to conceal rather than reveal. There is so much propaganda embedded this clip it boggles the mind.
Let your eyes settle on the big red banner across the bottom of the clip. We didn’t respond. When we tell’ Iran not to attack Israel and then they do so anyway, the reporter calls it a win for the President because Israel has not (yet) responded. BTW, when they say that Israel has not ‘responded’ they purposely confuse the meaning of that word with the actions taken by the US (the word ‘response’ in the red banner). If they mean the the US is responding by using words (as the banner implies) then why are Israel’s words not a response as well?
When Iran attacks Israel and the question presented to the administrations slime-ball mouthpiece is about containing Israel (viewed as a win for the admin) rather than not being able to contain an Iranian attack on our ‘ally’ (viewed as a failure for the admin), you know the fix is in. The first question asked is how effective the President has been on dissuading Israel from attacking Iran. It should have been why was the President so ineffective at dissuading Iran from attacking Israel.
The idea that the US has sent a message to the world and strengthened security in the region by our actions (beginning at the 1:18 mark) is an obvious falling away of reality. But then again, your reality is not for you to form on your own.: the US government insists on participating in that endeavor.
With rare exception every time I hear a politician, or their mouthpiece (including their many mouthpieces in the press), use the word ‘bipartisan’ I know that we are being fed a line of crap. Kirby begins using it at about the 3 minute mark.
Up is down, right is wrong, the sky is green, and your an unpatriotic American if you don’t support this administrations balls-to-the-wall run at destroying the nation and setting fire to the world.

If you think what’s happening in America is an ‘erosion of our rights’ by bad actors in the deep state then you’re the model citizen that same state has worked so hard to create.
The fourth amendment: “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized’
The bill passed 273 to 147 even though an amendment that would guarantee that the states intrusion into the lives of citizens was legit (a warrant required) failed on an earlier vote/tie of 212 to 212.
Apparently the Constitution and the Bill of Rights have no meaning to these folks and the oath they swore while ascending to office was eye candy for the masses.
So the score is somewhere around 70 to zip. But the score only matters if you believe that ‘the game’ is legit and not just another ring in a multi-ringed circus. The ideals of the founders expressed in the constitution are not even any longer suggestions, but rather punch lines used by the clowns within the ring.
A Measured Response
A while ago I received a pretty thorough note detailing how I may have fallen prey to ‘wrong think’ on the topic of immigration. It arrived as an email (vice a comment) and rather than copy and paste it into the comments on that topic I decided that the note provided me with a do over opportunity; a means to add a little meat to the bones I had earlier cast upon the cybers in a post titled ‘A Rant: Immigration’.
I’ve stripped off the personally identifiable information and removed some extraneous material and am throwing it back out to you, my loyal readers, in the form of a “you said, I respond format” that is certain to confuse all but the most astute.

Slo Joe and Camel Toe went the extra mile and invited a ‘popular’ rap star to their palace near the Potomac; the desired result was underachieved and, considering how the conversation probably went, this has to be a real disappointment for the dynamic duo. After all, who could spend more than a minute or two with this jewel before their brain begins to hurt.
I used ‘popular’ in quotes because I’ve know idea who she is. She’s obviously a somebody else-wise why the call? After a review of the CNN interview, I can see why she was such a catch for the D’s: she’s so damn articulate.
Just about as articulate a soul as you could ask for: “It was so cool, I was geeked,” she began. “Everybody don’t get to meet the President and the Vice President, so just being able to be in the White House, like I never in a million years thought I’d be in the White House. Then I was in the White House and got to meet the President and Vice President? Oh, they can’t mess with me.” “I just feel like ‘her,’ you feel me?”
Bottom line? They can’t even squeeze an endorsement from a Memphis Bell.
NY’s 3rd and Why It Doesn’t Matter
The outcome of that race didn’t matter for two reason: It was a blue on blue contest (thanks to the reds) and AI is going bring us to our bony knees anyway.
Who was the Republican contestant in NY 3rd congressional district? Why it was a registered Democrat of course. Her name: Mazi Melesa Pilip. Ms Pilip, a registered democrat hails from Ethiopia and more recently from Israel.
Her husband was born in the Ukraine; small world isn’t it. Wiki says he’s an American-Ukrainian-Jewish medical student from a family of Holocaust survivors who had come from the United States to Haifa to study medicine at the Technion, later becoming a cardiologist. I can relate, as I have similar background (having been born in Virginia, am quasi Christian, and now live in Tennessee).
Back to Ms Mazi and the purpose of this lengthy drivel; The R’s in New York didn’t care anything about her politics, which way she would vote, or what crap they were hoisting on the rest of the country as long as they could get a check-mark in the W column. Besides that, they get extra points and a whole lotta boxes checked for selecting a woman, of African origin, who’s Jewish. Hell they even get point for inclusion by nominating a D to represent the R party.
This is the NY’s 3rd Congressional district. I’m pretty sure the R’s, both within this congressional district and within leadership positions at the national level, knew that this seat was toast. What most of us commoners didn’t (and probably still don’t recognize) is that regardless of who won the special election in NY’s 3rd, it was a seat absolutely going to flip blue because you cannot, and I mean absolutely cannot find someone who is more RINO than a registered Democrat running as a Republican.
As for the district, it’s area of about 20 by 20 (400 square miles) made up of concrete and road signs. That’s about 2000 residents per square mile. It has about 100,000 more souls calling it home than the entire state of Wyoming where they have a land area of 97,818 square miles, or about 6 folk per square miles. Wyoming has one representative for the entire state. Which brings me to my second point; AI.

Somebody needs to grab a keyboard and start smashing it into the servers. Five associates of Hillary Clinton and her presidential campaign are invoking their Fifth Amendment rights and refusing to cooperate with Special Counsel John H. Durham, according a filing in federal court revealed later Friday in Washington, DC.
The revelation emerged in a motion filed by Durham to oppose the efforts of defendant Michael Sussmann and the Clinton campaign to withhold some documents from evidence by asserting attorney-client privilege.
Sussmann is charged with lying to the FBI in 2016 when he informed the FBI about a fraudulent link between then-candidate Donald Trump and the Russian government via Alfa Bank. Sussmann allegedly presented himself as a concerned citizen, and hid the fact that he was working for the Clinton campaign.
In the filing, Durham noted that while one witness, identified as “Researcher-2,” was granted immunity from prosecution in exchange for testimony, “at least five other witnesses who conducted work relating to the Russian Bank-1 allegations invoked (or indicated their intent to invoke) their right against self-incrimination.”

There is a ‘rule’ in congress known as the Byrd Rule (named after the long dead Senator Byrd), which limits the ability of the majority to stuff extraneous legislative goodies into budget-related proposals and still pass them with a simple-majority vote under that process.
There was a time when all rational senators saw the danger of using reconciliation, which limits amendments and debate, to pursue broader, non-budgetary legislation outside regular order. This rule defended the rights of all senators to debate and amend legislation.
What this means is that major legislative policy changes can be made only when all senators have the right to fully debate and amend legislation — and to filibuster. Now, if you are in the majority, but not a 60/40 majority, the Byrd Rule means you cannot sling crap down the throat of the nation and have it go unnoticed.
You cannot do whatever pleases you as long as the Byrd Rule exists. That’s a real problem for this new democrat majority, and there is a move afoot to retire this constraint. It’s through these types of expediencies that the nation will fall.
It’s absolutely amazing how quickly this nation is collapsing.

“Our holy democracy has spoken,” said Senator Chuck Schumer. “Do not ask any questions or you are a blasphemer against the sacred sacredness of our vote. Everyone can go home now!”
A couple of troublemaking Senators attempted to overthrow the Constitution by bringing up the point that there are only 100 Senators, making it impossible to arrive at a tally of 8275 to 3, but they were quickly removed from the Senate Chambers and condemned for “attempting to suppress the votes of people of color.”
The Senate then moved on to other business, passing universal healthcare by a margin of 320,000 to 4.

Our present batch of brainiacs are rewriting history so quickly that the time will shortly come when the ‘lessons of the past’ will be based on a fantasy. Future generations will not only be indoctrinated on how history unfolded, but also on how they should interpret and internalize whatever crap is being passed off as knowledge.
For my part I’m troubled with a false past masquerading as a historical reality. I’m not upset because I’m a purest or because history holds a special place in my heart (for the most part I could care less), rather I’m pissed because manipulating history changes the lessons history provides and gives cover/validity to those who’s want is to destroy the nation and enslave it’s people. I’ll venture to say, however, that 80+ percent of folk in this nation could not live without the enslavement they currently enjoy anyway.
Rewriting gives tyrants new tools to corrupt the weak minded. It makes it far easier to claim the high ground and proclaim themselves the harbingers of a bright new future where ‘equality, right, truth and justice’ prevail. The weak are just fine with the death and destruction that flows from a fantasy sold wholesale , as long at it’s your death and not their own.
All of this is made possible by a population that has abandoned the intent of their now demonized founders and turned their back on the moral compass the founders provided for the young nation.

These folk will coexist until control (centralization) of the means of production, distribution, and exchange of resources is complete. That day is closer than we yet realize. Then the anarchists will be either fed or shot. They will not overcome the crushing weight of a socialist regime.
I’m being a realist, not a defeatist, when I suppose the hard left voices in the nation have poisoned enough gimmedat minds to influence every future decision at the national and many state and local levels. In my mind the only uncertainty is in the velocity of the fall.
With a totally malleable President and control of all of the levers by power hungry socialists, a hot civil war is unwinnable and thanks to the advocacy of a fourth estate with the intention and ability to both frame every narrative and squelch every dissenting voice, the cold civil war we are presently engaged in will shortly end. I’m sorry to report that we will not be the victors.
So then what’s a man to do? We should do what we should have been doing all along regardless of which millionaire or billionaire sits on the throne: live a good life and worship our God in the way he would have us.

Joe Biden is planning to sign dozens of executive orders later this week and in doing so crushes some of Orange Mans favorite policies. Three main areas are addressed: immigration, climate change, and the kung flu.
Specifically he plans on rescinding the travel ban on sand people, rejoining the Paris climate scam, and mandate the wear of masks on federal property or during interstate travel. I suppose this would include wearing a mask in your new sparky vehicles.
But, but, but, what about fixin raaaaaysim? Ron Klain says: “These actions will change the course of COVID-19, combat climate change, promote racial equity and support other underserved communities, and rebuild our economy in ways that strengthen the backbone of this country: the working men and women who built our nation,”
On the second day in office, Plugs will sign executive actions on Covid-19, including ways to help schools and business reopen safely (flooding the education unions with cash), expand testing, protect workers and establish clearer public health standards.
They say on the third day he will ‘direct his Cabinet to work on delivering economic relief to families most affected by the crisis.’ I wonder who these folk might be and what form the economic relief might take?
In the days that follow he will expand the Buy America provisions, by ”taking action to advance “equity and support communities of color,”. He will tinker with the criminal justice system, push for single payer, and reunite families separated at the border (I assume this means that if a family member got through during the last round of insanity, the balance of the clan just hit the lottery.
That’s a lot to accomplish in a few short days, wonder what this place is going to look like in a couple of years?

Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.) has apologized to Black Oklahomans for challenging Joe Biden’s Electoral College victory, saying he did not realize his actions would be seen as “casting doubt on the validity of votes” in predominantly Black cities like Atlanta, Philadelphia and Detroit.
If nothing else Trumps exodus has illuminated the cesspool that is DC and the slimy creatures that haunt that swamp. All big cities politicians come to power on the promise of a payout. For the most part they keep their promises; raiding the public treasury to reward, withholding to punish. When the treasury runs low they borrow against the future, bleeding the yet unborn to satisfy the lusts of the present. All goes well until the future arrives.
It seems that the pyramid scheme known as the NY Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) has been running on borrowed time from some good while now: $16 Billion of borrowed time. Not to worry, the ‘Covid Funding’ working it’s way to federal fruition will (supposedly) settle the matter. There is little time to waste though, if this crisis is to be fully capitalized and those blood suckers within the NY City Council are, if nothing else, experts at leveraging crisis for gain.

Assemblyman Robert Carroll proposed the bill, which would require New York City residents to pay a $3 fee for packages delivered to their homes as many businesses remain shuttered as a result of the Chinese coronavirus pandemic. Carroll believes his proposal could help the MTA, with the surcharge generating over $1 billion per year.
In a joint op-ed with John Samuelsen, the International President of the Transport Workers Union, Carroll said the MTA is in need of a bailout from Washington, but contends that it alone will not suffice.
“The MTA’s latest forecast pegs its deficits through 2024 at a staggeringly high figure: $16.2 billion. As been widely reported, COVID has decimated ridership and other sources of transit funding. Only the federal government can deliver on such a huge scale,” they wrote, adding that MTA will need “more than a one-shot infusion of federal money to keep it safe, reliable and readily available for millions of daily riders.”
“There is one option that would raise more than $1 billion a year for the city’s subway and bus system — while also supporting small businesses and protecting the environment,” they continued, introducing Carroll’s $3 surcharge proposal.

The question on who will be the next president appears to be answered by the media as Good-ol-Joe. Let me suggest that it’s not quite as simple as that. It seems that the ‘rules’ are that you have to actually get to the inauguration in order to become president. If you die between the time you’re elected and Inauguration day well then it’s up to two groups to decide on who gets to lie while swearing on the bible: The DNC and the electors.
